P+F was founded in 1945 as a radio repair shop by founders Walter Pepperl and Ludwig Fuchs. In 1948, the company began to expand into other areas of electronics, and in 1958 invented the first proximity switch and the first transistor amplifier with an intrinsically safe control circuit. We started from scratch and today have developed into a manufacturer of sensor technology, intrinsic safety and explosion-proof equipment. We are proud of what Pepplus is today, our legacy of achievement, innovation and the strong relationships we have built with our customers over the years. With the memory of The Times, let us recall the important events and rich history of Pepplus Fu. Automation is ours. Perfect solutions are the goal. Walter Pepperl and Ludwig Fuchs, two of the founding fathers of Pepperl and Fuchs, founded the Radio Repair Shop in Mannheim in 1945 through entrepreneurial courage, intrepid pioneering spirit and persistent innovation.
